Descrizione
This is a book for children facing the first day of Kindergarten and for parents who are looking to help to prepare them for this important experience.
Page after page, through colorful illustrations, the children are introduced to themes such as temporary detachment from parents, socialization in a new environment, cultural diversity and the importance of playing together.
The peculiarity of this book is that it turns upside down at the climax, thus highlighting the moment between the “unknown” in the first half of the book and the experience in the second.
The underlying theme of the story is the red bag, which is the same for everyone at the beginning, but becomes personalized when the children choose a symbol. This underlines the fact that, even with their onunique identity, every child is part of a world that unites us and makes us similar.
